it was written by Jeanette Biedermann
and Katharina Wieker and is full of nice ideas
plus, of course, lots of illustrations...

Deciples Of Reverb

a few weeks ago, when i got an email from Jaque Kilauea asking me
if i could do the artwork for the new KILAUEAS! LP i was really excited!
a cover for a surf band, definately a missing point on my illustrators to-do list...
plus they'll tour the US west coast next month, so the art is going to spread, too.

and now the waiting is over and i got to lay my hands on the fresh printed album yesterday!

Made Of Love: Meet The Little Paper People!

the second paper stop-motion-spot i had the opportunity to be a little part of earlier this year.

i'm really amazed about the giant amount of work that was done in such a short period of time.
you can only begin to imagine how much it really was when you see the making-of-movie...

i redesigned two Darko Drexler covers for the paperback edition recently.
it is soooo much nicer to draw evil characters...

The Book of Unwritten Tales Part 2

for quite a while now  i'm working on the concept art
for KingArt's Book of Unwritten Tales II doing the background stuff,
while Marvin Clifford is taking care of all things character related this time,
and a lot more.

i'd really like to show stuff here,
but the game isn't quite finished yet,
so everyone interested has to visit the site and look for updates
until it's finally there! some really nice animation there, some of them done
by the great Geoffrey Koehler, take the time to see his stuff, too!

a few weeks ago i had the opportunity to work with the great Sinem Sakaoglu
and all the other nice people from Visual Distractions studio in Hamburg.
i had to design some nice little paper puppets for a new McDonald's Commercial,
which is on air now and can be seen here.

i was asked to draw a poster
for my rowdy friends from the deafmen yet again.
they didn't really give me any guidelines,
so i just drew whatever i wanted.

i'm happy they still like me.

i drew this little picture for a great person last weekend,
because it was her great day and she's got a new scooter...
this will be fun!

I Had No Idea

the time came to draw a new flyer/poster
for my good friends from the DEAFMEN,
and i really didn't know what to do -
then i remembered a guy i always wanted to draw.

in the end i thought it goes together quite well, doesn't it?
anyway, i had fun and i like the spooky look.

when i was prowling around Leipzig book fair i noticed a green sticker
on the front of the Scary Harry books displayed at the LOEWE booth...
looking closer i found:
